Synopsis by Hal Erickson
During a schoolroom history class, 11-year-old "Midget Militant" Michael Evans (Ralph Carter) labels George Washington a racist because he was a slaveholder. The result: Michael is promptly suspended from school and sent home. His parents, James (John Amos) and Florida (Esther Rolle), nervously try to persuade Michael to apologize for his statement, but that's not quite how things turn out.
