A retired engineer and lifelong Hindi film and music fan decides to turn over a new leaf, only to find that letting go of his old routine isn't as easy as he first thought. Madan Mohan Khullar has grown tired of his daily grind. Thinking that a little shake-up in his schedule will be just the thing needed to give him a fresh outlook on life, Madan sits down and plans a whole new routine. But Madan's new schedule doesn't start until tomorrow morning, and before he breaks from the past he'll have to get through what feels like the longest night of his life. A forgotten melody is echoing through Madan's head, making sleep impossible and giving the mundane details of his life a newfound significance. Tormented by the fact that his latest composition remains unfinished, the forced loner strives to finish his song as his roguish manservant watches on in bemusement. Good Night won awards at the FulMarxx Shorts Fest, International Film Festival of India, and India International Women Film Festival in 2008.
