Acclaimed filmmaker Peter Greenaway (Prospero's Books, The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover) directs this drama based on the life of 16th century Dutch printer and engraver Hendrik Goltzius, who persuaded the Margrave of Alsace to purchase a printing press for creation of a book featuring erotic illustrations from the Old Testament.
