Synopsis by Nathan Southern

As celebrated for her extreme personality/eclectic lifestyle as for her skill as a songwriter and musician, Goldylocks (who moonlights, alternately, as a professional wrestler, photographer, clothing designer, and TV pundit) put together a gritty, grungy hardcore rock act that immediately became notorious for its outrageous onstage antics. Her eponymously-titled band debuted in 2004 with the EP Sometimes, on Futuristic Records. Goldylocks: Live From Detroit, the first live performance of the band that has been released and issued for home viewing, was filmed in the Motor City when oldylocks fronted for Noisecult. The disc features a mixture of the group's established numbers and several original compositions by Goldylocks herself, performed for the first time here.
