In a bizarre union of man, woman, and robot, Godannar tells the story of two mecha pilots who were about to be married when a giant Mimemic Beast appeared before them. The two were immediately caught in an epic battle, and now it's up to these two hot-headed lovebirds to combine efforts both in their relationship and in their mechas in order to save the planet.
