In this suspense-filled Western, the employees of the Parsons Land Reclamation Company are being terrorized by bandits, so "Drive" Garringer (Franklyn Farnum) is asked to take matters in hand. Garringer seeks aid from Wilma Wharton (Helene Chadwick), daughter of an old prospector and highly capable Western cowgirl. But Wilma is waylaid by one of the bandits, "Bull" Ross (Joseph Rickson). Wilma is trying to find protection from the leader of the gang, and Ross convinces hera fake wedding will do the trick. But the minister is real, and Wilma finds herself actually married to Ross. He hides Wilma in the gang's Mexican quarters, but Garringer locates her with the help of "Red" McCarthy (Dick Loreno). The bandits trap them and a battle results. Garringer believes Wilma is in league with the badmen, but she's able to explain her situation, and when Ross is killed by the bandit leader, she's free to marry Garringer.
