Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Maurice B. "Lefty" Flynn stars in this Northwoods tale which features a standard theme: the Mountie who must put love before duty. Richard (Flynn), a sergeant of the Canadian Royal Mounted Police, falls from exhaustion in the snow. He is taken in by a couple, Jack (Lee Shumway) and Elizabeth Danrock (Bess Flowers, in a rare co-starring role). The Danrocks are fleeing from the police, and Richard is eventually assigned the task of tracking them down. They are wanted for the murder of Brockton's partner. Richard's pursuit of the Danrocks takes them all into a number of dangerous situations, including a forest fire, but the three of them remain curiously loyal to each other. Finally, Richard discovers their story -- their father (Walter James) was also a partner of Brockton, who killed him. They had tried to get the documents from the third partner, the one whose murder they are accused of committing. Brockton, it turns out, is the killer, and Richard rounds him up. Since it has turned out the Danrocks are not married but are brother and sister, Richard is free to declare his love for Elizabeth.
