synopsis
In this drama, a teenage trumpeter makes friends with Slate Thompson, a jazz pianist whom he idolizes. The legendary Thompson is obsessed with remaining true to his art. When the moody pianist meets the idealistic lad, he begins to remember the joy he once felt when he played.
