This Canadian documentary examines the post-apartheid era of South Africa. Observing South Africa's Truth & Reconciliation Commission, which has soldiers and politicians confess to past crimes, the film focuses on a couple, journalist Louise Flannigan, an investigator for the organization, and army official Gerri Hugo, who describes past police activities. Shown at the 1997 Toronto Film Festival.
