Synopsis by Perry Seibert
The documentary Genesis: Sum of the Parts tells the history of the rock band originally led by Peter Gabriel in the seventies. They built a reputation as one of the best prog-rock groups of all time, but when Gabriel departed for a solo career, they promoted the drummer, Phil Collins, to lead singer and proceeded to have a string of major pop hits including "Invisible Touch," "That's All," and "Land of Confusion." Each member of the band contributed materials to this film.
