With Trance (Laura Bertram) in tow, Beka (Lisa Ryder) answers a distress call from her late father's business partner Uncle Sid (John de Lancie). She is shocked to discover that her beloved uncle is actually Sam Profit, CEO of a powerful organization dealing in "flash," a highly addictive drug. Now Beka faces a disturbing question: What did Sid (or Sam) know about the demise of her father, and when did he know it?
