The sequel to Digital Sex, his late-night TV series on Channel Four, Future Sex is British porn director/documentarian Amory Peart's documentary exploration into the realm of sex and sexuality in the 21st century. Peart took numerous trips between Great Britain and the U.S. in order to piece together his celebration of nooks, crannies, and twisted alleyways of human sexuality, and in the process, discovered a wide world of sexual diversity. In the course of Future Sex, Peart introduces his audience to members of the "third sex" that exists somewhere between male and female, lesbian dominatrixes, Florida dude dorm apartments, and a woman whose sex life with her husband gets an extra boost from her use of a particularly well-endowed sex toy. These are only but a few of the people who open up to Peart, and he responds with an impressive willingness to join the revelry. Future Sex had its world premiere at the 2002 Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
