Synopsis by Jeff Gemmill
Filmmaker Marian Marzynski attends a Warsaw meeting of fellow Holocaust survivors, where he and others recall the horrors they endured as children. Writer Lilian Boraks-Nemetz recalls how she and her mother were saved by her father, who pushed them behind a gate while they were being marched to the transit center that would have routed them to a death camp. Like Marzynski, Halina Kramarz was taken in by Christians; and, like Marzynski, she had difficulties re-embracing her faith after the war.
