Synopsis by Sarah Ing

Front 242 was one of the first technologically savvy industrial bands of the 1990s. With driving beats and a European point of view, the group successfully competed with Depeche Mode and Ministry. Front 242: Integration Eight x Ten demonstrates Front 242's driving musicianship with live sets and videos. The band mixes old and new into the collection, taking singles from their early albums, with Headhunter leading the pack. Official Version contributes "Masterhit" and "Quite Unusual." "Tragedy for You" and "Rhythm of Time" come from Tyranny For You. "Take One" and a live version of "Funkhadafi" round out the selections. While the effects and presentation are decidedly '80s, Front 242's songs are well represented.
