Maria Pitillo guest stars as Laura, the social worker assigned to visit Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) to discuss their prospects for becoming adoptive parents. Arriving at the apartment, Laura is seized by a feeling of déjà vu -- understandable, since she previously had a one-night stand in the selfsame apartment with Joey (Matt LeBlanc). Meanwhile, Mike (Paul Rudd) and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) have problems keeping their promise to donate their wedding fund to charity, and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) reveals one of her innermost fears to Ross (David Schwimmer) -- she's terrified of swings.
