Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) invites her overly "enthusiastic" and upbeat new boyfriend, Parker (Alec Baldwin), to the 35th anniversary party for Jack and Judy Geller (Elliott Gould, Christina Pickles), the parents of Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica (Courteney Cox). Hoping to one-up Ross, whose toasts to his folks at previous parties have reduced the guests to tears, Monica comes up with a tribute guaranteed to open the floodgates. But it is Ross and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) who feel like crying when they learn that the Gellers have been lying about the expectant couple's relationship.
