Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this English-language, Italian-made film, a group of lifelong buddies find their friendships tested to the limit when one of their number picks a fight in a bar and nearly kills the man. They have just come from playing an important baseball game together. The friends decide not to call the police, and they do what they can to erase the evidence in hopes that the beaten man will die and no one will be able to identify their friend. However, each one of them has struggles with his conscience. Their difficulties multiply when it looks like the victim is about to recover, and the case is being investigated by a detective who has family ties to the boys. However, the father of one of the boys condones the cover-up, and helps prolong their freedom.
