Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Though filmed on a tight budget, the British Four Men in a Van delivered value for money in terms of entertainment. The plot was based on We Three and Troddles, a novel by R. Andom. Manning Haynes, Donald Searle, Gordon Hopkirk and comedy-relief Johnny Butt star as a quartet of young pals who decide to take a motor vacation across England. The storyline is as rambling as the four protagonists, but the film's individual episodes are comic gems. Featured in the cast is perennial movie oldster Moore Marriott, later a fixture of the Will Hays comedies of the 1930s.
