Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Hale Hamilton, who starred in the stage version of Get-Rich-Quick Wallingford, plays a similar character in this light comedy. Lon Withers has big ideas, but woefully lazy habits. To teach him a lesson, his fiancée, Suzanne Brooks (Ruth Stonehouse), tricks him into believing that a South American millionaire is offering a great business opportunity -- if he's entertained well enough. Withers jumps at the chance and charms both money and assistance from Ford (Louis Fitzroy), a bookkeeper and fellow employee, and Jimmie (Robert Badger), the office boy. Along with Suzanne, who poses as Withers' secretary, the couple obtains a sumptuous suite at a top hotel, hire a car and chauffeur, and proceed to do up the town with Romez (Frederic Malatesta), the South American. Withers winds up in a lot of trouble -- the house detective arrests him and he's suspected of stealing from his employer -- before Romez and Suzanne straighten things out. For his efforts, Withers is hired by Romez as his American representative.
