Synopsis by Emru Townsend
Matt Phlatt, his cat Geoff, and his fish Chips are regular, ordinary folks -- cel-animated, "flat" characters in a 3-D world. When a bank robber is released from a 1930s gangster film into Matt's world by a freak electrical accident, the robber goes on a crime spree, emboldened by his sudden ability to become flat as a board. Thanks to a case of mistaken identity, Matt is swept up in the chaos -- and falls into the TV world with Geoff and Chips, the three becoming fully dimensional characters who can change their surroundings as quickly as Geoff can hit the remote control buttons. The confusion only escalates as Matt, his pets, the robber, and the police chase each other in and out of Matt's world and the TV universe.
