The screen's greatest sci-fi superhero gets a modern makeover in an animated space adventure that pits a teenaged Flash Gordon against the galaxy's most ruthless villain. When a mysterious black hole opens on Earth and transports Alex Gordon, Dale Arden, and Dr. Hans Zarkoff to the remote planet of Mongo, they are forced to defend the peace-loving citizens of the planet from the dreaded Ming the Merciless. They may not be able to do it on their own, but with a little help from Ming's daughter Princess Aura and a rebellious group of freedom fighters, the young hero and friends may just be able to end Ming's nefarious reign of terror before the villain sets his sights on planet Earth.
