Recca Hanabishi aspires above all things to be a ninja. This isn't the usual career path that a high-schooler chooses, but there is a reason for Recca's unexplainably strong interest: in reality, he is descended from a family of ninjas who have the control of fire. Now even familiar faces are revealing truly insidious intentions and sides he never knew existed; a girl he meets named Yanagi turns out to be a princess with magical healing powers and he must protect her from his own adoptive father who wishes to use her power to attain eternal life. Now with the help of his friends, Recca must gain the strength to live out the adventure he's been imagining all his life.
