Synopsis by Sarah Ing

Renowned artist and storyteller Leo Lionni narrates five animal fables in this classic release. Accompanied by Giulio Gianini's animation, each five-minute story teaches a lesson in human behavior. "Frederick" offers a mice-drawn look at poetry. "It's Mine" finds frogs learning to work together. Alligators who learn the power of being different populate "Cornelius." Simple lines adorn the fish who would be tadpole in "A Fish is a Fish." Finally, "Swimmy" closes with the fable of a clever fish who saves his friends. Told through the eyes of likeable animals, Lionni's tales are a valuable teaching tool.
