synopsis
Better in his TV comedy days, comedian Ernie Kovacs plays a pallbearer who bilks grieving widows on the side. When he falls in love with one of his marks, a destitute baroness (Cyd Charisse), his desperate ploys to acquire the finances needed to impress her lead him to disaster. Romantic comedy that never really quite clicks.
