Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
The makers of the classic political documentary The War Room turn their cameras on comedian and left-wing pundit Al Franken in this examination of the state of free-speech. Using a lawsuit against Franken by the Fox News cable channel as a springboard, filmmakers Nick Doob and Chris Hegedus look at the effects of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the freedoms and liberties of Americans. Interviewees include actor Mario van Peebles and poet Amiri Baraka.
