A low-budget silent boxing melodrama, Fighting Fate was one in a series of action films starring Billy Sullivan, a nephew of legendary heavyweight champion John L. Sullivan. This time, the younger Sullivan played a small town boxer who is falsely accused of throwing his first professional match and barred from the ring. With the assistance of his faithful manager (Johnny Sinclair) and girlfriend (Nancy Deaver), Billy manages to catch the bad guys and clear his name.
