Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Filmmaker Michael van Erp shines a light on some common fears by interviewing a series of people from Amsterdam who suffer from a wide variety of anxiety disorders. In a time when anxiety has become the top mental illness in the Netherlands, millions of everyday people struggle just to lead a normal life. But gaining control over ones one thoughts can be a monumental undertaking, and in order to truly understand how difficult that process can be, van Erp probes people such as the woman who can't feel clean without showering for abnormally long periods, and a man whose intense fear of heights prevents him from looking out of his own window.
