Synopsis by Janiss Garza

While Howland, a trapper of the Northwest (Robert Edeson), is taking his injured son to a far away surgeon, his so-called friend Blake steals away his wife (Naomi Childers). Twenty years later, Howland and his son (also played by Edeson) are both officers for the Northwest Mounted police. The elder Howland encounters Blake once again over the body of a murdered man. He arrests Blake and makes sure he is convicted of the crime, even though he is innocent. Blake then tries to escape and is killed. His three sons corner Howland and try to make him confess that he lied, but he dies in an accident. With both fathers dead, the sons decide to carry on the feud. After a lot of complications, including the reappearance of Howland's wife, the young Howland and Blakes put a halt to their war. This picture, as might be guessed, is based on a James Oliver Curwood story -- though, admittedly, it's not one of his best.
