Maryland-based independent filmmaker Pepi Singh Khara directs the digital video feature Far From India. Talvin (Kahlil Joseph) and Nitin (Nitin Adsul) are two Indian immigrants who share an apartment and work at a theater. They both fall for their co-worker Chloe (Melanie Johnson), who comes from a prejudiced family.
