Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Clay Burgess (Tom Mix), a drifter, returns to the small town of Palo to find the president of the bank -- his father -- murdered and the unscrupulous "Big" Dave Dawley (George Nichols) in charge. Dawley begins a campaign of terror against the townspeople, but Clay, the true heir to the bank, stands in the way of total dominance. With the help of lovely Della Bowen (Kathleen Connors) and her ranch hand, Ben (Jack Dill), Clay unearths old man Burgess' long-lost will and, after quite a bit of furious gun play, Dawley is arrested for the murder. Free of the despot, Clay and Della can finally start thinking of a future together.
