Synopsis by Janiss Garza

The comedy team of Eddie Lyons and Lee Moran had been making one and two reelers for the better part of the 1910s. This farce was their first feature, which they also jointly directed. Jack Elton (Moran) can't bear to leave his bride, Annabelle (Anne Cornwall), but a business trip drags him away. Annabelle asks her next door neighbor, Billy Hervey (Lyons) to take her to buy some eggs for her hubby's return. But somehow they get tangled up with a maniac who locks them in the bedroom of a deserted house for the night. The next day, they have a lot of explaining to do to her husband and his jealous fiancée (Katherine Lewis). Their solution is to tell everything but the truth (hence the film's title). Their stories create even more complications before everything finally gets cleared up.
