Synopsis by Rovi
The habitually pessimistic Ray (Ray Romano) is convinced that he will not win the Sports Writer of the Year Award. Debra (Patricia Heaton) tries to persuade Ray to adopt a more optimistic outlook on life. This he does--and before long, Ray is the only member of his family who continually looks upon the brighter side of things. Good news? Hardly! Now that Ray is so irritatingly upbeat, the rest of the family is convinced that he has become incurably swell-headed.
