Marie (Doris Roberts) drives Ray (Ray Romano) to distraction when she declares that she likes Robert's girlfriend Amy (Monica Horan) more than Ray's wife Debra (Patricia Heaton). It seems that Marie has suddenly developed a puritanical streak, and she is delighted that Amy is a virgin--which of course, Debra has not been for years. But what's the real reason for Marie's sudden obsession with abstention. The answer may have something to do with her son Robert (Brad Garrett)--who, if we are to believe Marie, was the only 12-pound premature infant in medical history.
