Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Olive Thomas was an ex-Follies girl, so she was well suited to her role in this comedy-drama. Claire Curtis (Thomas), Jimmie (Charles Gunn), and Mary (Margaret Thompson) are former childhood pals. Claire goes to New York and becomes a Follies girl, while Jimmie creates an invention that is being manufactured in his hometown of Randsburg. He comes to New York to sell his product, and his friendship with Claire ripens into love. Back in Randsburg, Jimmie's rivals -- David Harding (Charles K. French) and his son Ralph (Darrel Foss) -- are stirring up the workers. When Mary comes to New York, Claire introduces her to the joys of Broadway, and Mary admits to Claire that she loves Jimmie. Although Claire loves him too, she decides to let her friend have a chance. Meanwhile, David Harding has come to New York to keep Jimmie unaware of a plot to blow up his factory; he drugs Jimmie to keep him from going home. But Claire discovers the whole plan and frantically drives him back just in time to save his invention. Mary, it turns out, was more interested in Jimmie's money than in Jimmie, leaving the way open for Claire.
