Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Two doctors fight to overcome the devastating loss of their only child by offering medical aid to the poor in Southeast Asia, but realize that faith is the only thing that can truly save them after a harrowing kidnapping that threatens to shatter their hopes for a happy future. When Paul (C. Thomas Howell) and Kim Jordan lost their baby, they thought they could get a fresh start by helping the needy. But shortly after arriving in Southeast Asia, Paul is abducted by human traffickers whose leader has fallen gravely ill. Locked in a cage alongside affluent prisoner Malcolm Andrews (John Rhys-Davies), the benevolent doctor realizes that the leader of the gang will soon die. When that happens, Paul will likely be killed. Only when Malcolm convinces Paul to put his faith in God does the desperate doctor realize that trust in a higher power will be the only thing that can reunite him with his beloved wife Kim.
