Synopsis by Josh Ralske

Examining the forensic evidence, Marcos (Villanueva Cosse) realizes that the late Dr. Mujica could not have been the man who Renzo (Julio Chávez) shot in the warehouse. The killer (Antonio Birabent), shown at the end of the last episode, is still on the loose, and soon he has abducted his next victim, Professor Lasky (Miguel Guerberoff), from the school. Lasky is the professor who kept the four dead students after class that day, demanding complete results from their experiments. If he had let them go home, Peñalver could not have taken them hostage. Now Bruno has a series of his own evil experiments to perform on the captured professor. Laura (Paola Krum) finds the next epitaph under her door. It says, "Here lies he who made curiosity an obsession." She also has to contend with her ex-husband, Fernán (Rafael Ferro), who, thinking she is still seeing Renzo, is threatening to take her to court to get custody of their son, Nico (Manuel Segovia). Bruno has a webcam device delivered to her apartment, and phones her, ordering her to let the technician install it. Meanwhile, Renzo uses his cab to help the police deal with two gunmen who have taken hostages at a supermarket, but Bruno is watching Renzo's every move, and doesn't approve of him risking his life that way.
