International superstar Elton John performs for a crowd of 70,000 fans in this 1984 release of his "Farewell" concert tour. Elton John: The Nighttime Concert attempts to capture the intensity of the artist's live show, and includes "Blue Eyes/I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues," "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting," "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word," "I'm Still Standing," and "Your Song." The video also contains all of the elaborate stage antics, and chart-topping hits that made Elton John one of the most successful recording artists of the '70s, and enabled him to sustain his popularity throughout the years.
