The cohost of the CBC newsmagazine Tabloid, Canadian TV journalist Elaine Grand starred in her own series of five interview specials, the first of which aired on Sunday, January 11, 1976. Generally avoiding hard-hitting news stories, Grand concentrated instead on famous people in the media and the Arts. The remaining four episodes of Elaine Grand were broadcast on Monday evenings from August 2 to 23, 1976.
