(1973)2.5Robert FirschingThe beautiful Patty Shepard stars in this mildly entertaining slasher whodunit from Basque director Javier Aguirre (El Jorobado de la Morgue). Patterned after the Italian giallo thrillers then in vogue, the film spruces up its conventional mystery plot line with sexy and horrific elements, but Aguirre directs without much flair, his best days already behind him. Giallo veterans Dianik Zurakowska and Jack Taylor are on hand to pull genre fans, and Paul Naschy from the "Waldemar Daninsky" werewolf films is around, but appears to be in it solely for the money. Simon Andreu and Jose Maria Prada co-star.
