Eric Siegel's Einstine is one of the founding documents of the video art genre. Originally produced on the Siegel built Processing Chrominance Synthesizer for the historical influential "TV as a Creative Medium" exhibit at the Howard Wise Gallery, Einstine is a psychedelic homage to the genius's genius. It also evinces an unexpected concern for light, an aesthetic quality not widely found in early video works.
