Chihaya is an angel from the planet Eden who acts as a plus checker, monitoring all the positive things accomplished by the human beings he observes. He is accompanied by Kagetsuya, a minus checker who records only negative actions, and together, they do what their race has done since time immemorial. Things may sound heavenly, but they are not: if humankind's score ever reaches negative 10,000, the Earth will be destroyed. Now a sinister plot is involving the two angels in biomechanical weaponry, and the result could damage Earth's score irreparably.
