A night at a burlesque house circa 1958 is captured on film in this vintage exploitation feature. Dreamland Capers features a handful of noted exotic dancers showing off their moves and their charms, including memorably named headliner Justa Dream and fellow peelers Lady Midnight, Valetta, Venus and Satalyte. The show also includes risqué comedy routines from John Maloney and Edward Innes, tunes from saucy songstress Jean Carter, and a handful of novelty acts, including contortionist Jacqueline Hurley, Dot Hackley demonstrating rodeo roping tricks, and Ray Vaughn, who reveals how to play music using empty liquor bottles. Dreamland Capers was the final project for producer Willis Kent, whose career in exploitation films began with the silent anti-drug drama The Pace That Kills in 1928 and included two classic burlesque reels starring the legendary Lily St. Cyr.
