Synopsis by Nathan Southern
A terrifying epidemic erupted in the province of Quebec between 2007 and 2011. During those years, an overwhelming 725 individuals perished in automobile accidents - and at least half of the incidents involved alcohol consumption, excessive driving speeds, or both. In this documentary, Paul Arcand explores the contributing factors that led up to this shocking statistic. Throughout, the director interviews accident victims, the surviving family members of accident victims, and those responsible for highway deaths - this giving a voice to numerous sides of the same tragedy.
