Goku's life was one of commitment to the exploration of the powerful Dragon Balls and now that he has passed on to the next world, it is up to Goku Jr. to carry on the legacy. It is a hard path to walk and one that requires more discipline than the youngster has yet learned. His predecessor is looking down on him, however, and remembers that he was once like Goku Jr., unschooled but full of the potential to live an honorable life.
