Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Notified that the President of the United States is due to arrive in Los Angeles in 24 hours, Sgt. Joe Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Bill Gannon (Harry Morgan) go into overdrive mode to work with the Secret Service in preparing precautionary arrangements. While inspecting the suite at the hotel at which the president will be staying, Friday discovers a minutely radioactive, but ultimately harmless, eagle plaque, impressing the Secret Service chief. Despite the repeated efforts of the chief to court Friday for a job with the Secret Service, the dedicated lawman gracefully refuses.
