Synopsis by Mark Deming

Three popular stories from the pen of famed children's author and illustrator Dr. Seuss (aka Theodore Geisel) come to life in this animated presentation. The Sneetches presents a humorous parable on the dangers of prejudice as the Star-Bellied Sneetches and the Sneetches "with no stars upon thars" find themselves manipulated by a slick stranger who can change one sort of Sneetch into another. In The Zax, one creature going North and another going South cross paths, then aren't sure how to share the road as they travel to the land of Prax. And Green Eggs and Ham offers pure whimsy and wordplay as Sam-I-Am attempts to interest one wary soul in a new breakfast delicacy. The voice cast for Dr. Seuss on the Loose includes Allan Sherman and Paul Winchell.
