Dr. Mike and Sully are surprised at the promptness of Ethan Cooper's (Ben Murphy) reply to their ad regarding their hopes to officially adopt Colleen and Brian. Though he had no plans to do anything other than offer his approval, he has a change of heart when Dr. Mike informs his new wife, Lillian (Kaitlin Hopkins), that she is incapable of conceiving herself. Meanwhile, Myra and Horace enlist the town's help in stopping baby Samantha's nonstop crying.
