A former gangster tries to go legit by establishing himself as a music mogul, but finds that escaping the past is easier said than done when his old foes return to claim a cut of the pie. Prentice is determined to build a new life for himself as a music industry heavy, but he just can't seem to shake the gangster mentality. When OG HYK, the leader of a notorious street gang, learns of Prentice's big cash windfall, the man who turned his back on the streets is forced to turn to some shady former allies for protection. But even with some particularly tough characters watching his back, Prentice may not be able to atone for his sins in time to build a new life.
