Synopsis by Nathan Southern
Puerto Rican musician Don Omar began his working life as a minister, but ultimately decided to leave the church in favor of devoting himself full-time to recording activity. Omar rode the crest of the then-nascent reggaeton craze to full-fledged superstardom. Beginning in 2003, he also issued a succession of albums on the V.I. Music and Machete Music labels that earned a favorable critical response and sold phenomenally well. Omar headlines the music release Don Omar: King of Kings Live, an unofficial companion piece to his 2006 King of Kings album. It includes 17 live tracks and 3 music videos.
