Dogs to the Rescue is listed as an American release, but the film sure looks European in origin. The plot and the title are interchangeable: a pair of intelligent canines rescue their human owners. The adventure level is exhilarating, but since this is a children's film, don't expect to be too frighteneed by the perilous situations included herein. Originally a feature length film, Dogs to the Rescue was pared down to an hour (actually 48 minutes) for television consumption. It was released in America as part of the Worldvision syndicated-TV package Specially for Kids.
